Payment plans made simple for WooCommerce

We mentioned about the exciting things happening at Partial.ly in our last blog. Here, we thought we’d expand a little on one of them that we think is going to have a big influence on attracting more ecommerce sites to integrate Partial.ly payment plans and enhance the online shopping experience.

To make it really easy to drop Partial.ly Payment Plans into WooCommerce websites, we’ve built the new Partial.ly plugin for WooCommerce, which integrates the functionality natively for the checkouts of webstores on the platform.

To make Partial.ly Payment Plans easy to understand and clearly display all customer charges and prevent the misunderstandings that make for unhappy customers, Partial.ly preserves all of the normal features you currently provide at the checkout. This includes important elements like using coupon codes, native shipping and tax settings, and shipping cost calculations.

Two ways to drive WooCommerce sales with Partial.ly

Use Partial.ly as a payment option in the normal WooCommerce checkout

Using this method, the order creation is handled by your WooCommerce shop, and the user goes to Partial.ly just for payment. To do this you will need to enter your API settings in the plugin settings so that the plugin can communicate with Partial.ly.

Use a Partial.ly checkout button on product or cart pages or in the widget

You can also choose to suggest using Partial.ly payment plans earlier in the shopping process by displaying Partial.ly options on your product pages from where customers can then directly checkout. Using this method, Partial.ly creates the payment plan and the subsequent order in WooCommerce using the WooCommerce API. To do this, you will need to connect to WooCommerce from your Partial.ly merchant portal integration settings.

There’s a host of customization options including:

  • Styling the way Partial.ly appears on product pages and at the checkout
  • Opting for custom or dynamic text for the widget

This plugin is easy to set up, just search for it in the WordPress plugin directory and install it. We recommend having a good look at the detailed WooCommerce support thread beforehand though, however, for experienced ecommerce developers, it should be no problem.

Grow WooCommerce sales and automate payments with Partial.ly

With Partial.ly Payment Plans helping customers spread the outlay for those big ticket purchases, WooCommerce stores win. They also win again through the Partial.ly automated payment system which makes sure the money turns up in the bank when it should.
