Partial.ly took a direct hit from Hurricane Irma on Sunday, September 10th, 2017. The Partial.ly offices are located in Tampa, Florida, along with the homes of all Partial.ly employees.
While our office and all of our employee's homes were spared from any significant damage, all lost power for 4 days. We were so thankful that no one was injured, but lacking power for as long as we did was difficult.
Running a software company has it's challenges. But, these challenges are exasberated when large swaths of the city lack power for days on end. Thankfully, we were able to take refuge at the homes of friends and family who's homes had power, and we worked from our laptops and mobile devices for a few days.
We apologize for any difficulties experienced while our office was without power.
